Kitchen Electrical

We just started having our electrical re-worked in the kitchen today. We had to tear down some drywall to put up insulation where all the formerly outside areas are now inside. We're doing 3 lines of lights essentially. 2 rows will be recessed lighting and 1 row will be above the island. We're trying to find some very period lights to hang over the island....probably globes or something of the like.

We had to redo all our switches to make all the new lights work.

Here's a closer look at our current hell-hole kitchen. Yikes!!!!

We are going to be doing tounge and groove wood ceilings throughout the house. We are leaving the beams white and doing a mid-tone wood for the tounge and groove. These globes would look super over our new island. :)

We're going to paint the dining room wall a shade of aqua, similar to this one. Tounge and groove is pretty groovy in this photo, but our will be the grooviest ever.
