Dining room
I love to move junk around the house to make other parts of the house seem more "finished". I moved drywall, wood, panels and tools out of the dining room and living room today so I could get a feel for how "finished" both rooms were. I moved our teak cabinet to the dining room and flanked it with the funky plants. We have to take the plants out of their original pots and move them into the white ceramic pots.
Our fireplace will probably never be finished. While I'd LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to have concrete cast mantel and bench, it is so far beyond our budget currently. So....plaster is a less expensive alternative to achieve the same look. I need to go art shopping for stuff to adorn the walls. For now, we'll just mount our chrome clock above the teak cabinet.
We need to have a metal person make a long metal extension so that we can hang the sputnik closer to the table for ambiance.
Matt finished the drawers for the kitchen, so hopefully we'll install those tomorrow and put up the knobs for a 95% complete kitchen.
