I could have my own show about re-designing homes! haha

I am always rearranging my furniture because we don't have the money in the budget for our dream furniture just yet. We have some big project ahead of us this spring and summer. We are adding a 45' angled patio cover, remodeling the master bathroom and adding a guest house.

Here's an updated shot of the kitchen. We still have to install some shelving, add doors to the cabinet above the refrigerator, install the toekick and install a light above the dining room table.

Here's a new light we actually found at the new Lowes down the street. This sits in our living room above the TV....such a cool wall wash effect at night...and a retro look, to boot!

Ah. The living room. We haven't been taking full advantage of all the space in the room until about a week ago. I decided that we could move the couches out to the end of the room and throw the orange chair in there to fill up more of the space. We still need new living room furniture, some of which Matt is going to build. He is going to make an entertainment console to hide all our electronics and speakers. Also, he is going to design some end tables and coffee tables to complement the room. We definitely need to get a rug of some sort to give definition to the space. Hopefully by Christmas we can get some new furniture for the space.

The dogs love having free reign of the house. They like to follow Matt and I around the house. They love chasing each other around and playing catch with squeaky balls, inside the house.
